ORW prepared the plan for the 17-acre Cottonwood Crossing mixed use development adjacent to Maple Tree Place in Wiliston.  The new mixed-use neighborhood will set a new template for the Taft’s Corners commercial district which has seen significant ‘big box’ retail development.  The mixed use development program for Cottonwood Crossing includes 50,000 sf of retail shopfront development;  26,000 sf of office development;  and 122 residential units.  The new development is tied into the existing street network and organized around small parks and squares.
