ORW worked with master planners Goody Clancy Associates of Boston to prepare a Master Plan for the Champlain College campus. The Master Plan provides a framework for new housing, educational, and administrative growth on the campus, while also addressing key issues about the scale and form of new development, parking and traffic, and stormwater management. The plan answered the question posed by the City of Burlington and neighbors about what to expect in terms of future changes at the college campus. ORW prepared the Landscape Master Plan including guidance for improving outdoor spaces, pedestrian circulation, transit access, as well as site furnishings that will create a consistent image for the campus. The Champlain College Master Plan was awarded a Merit Award by the Vermont ASLA (2007).
